THEO officially launched in November 2023 with one product, quality riding pants that could withstand the rigors of an equestrian’s day. Like many riders, I was searching for riding apparel that could keep up with the demands of long days at the barn while still looking polished afterward. I was frustrated with riding pants that looked worn out by the end of the day, especially when I still had errands to run or people to meet. I wanted equestrian apparel that was as stylish as it was functional.
I named the company THEO Equestrian because I believe horses are a gift from God. They bring joy, strength and purpose to so many lives. "Theo" comes from the ancient Greek word theós (θεός), which translates simply to "God" or "divine".
In the fall and winter of 2024, I began designing our signature belt buckle and performance shirts. Belt buckle patent applications were filed in July 2025, and we currently have design protection in Canada, the European Union and the United Kingdom. We are waiting for design protection in the United States and Switzerland.
By the end of September 2025, we introduced our first shirt designs, and our collection has continued to grow. The response has been incredible, and I am deeply grateful for the support and enthusiasm of the equestrian community.
Quality is at the heart of everything I create. I am passionate about designing riding apparel that is fashionable, comfortable, durable, and flattering—pieces that perform beautifully in the saddle while looking polished throughout the day.
For me, equestrian sport is far more than a hobby; it is a lifestyle. Riders deserve apparel that transitions effortlessly from the first ride at sunrise to the last event of the evening without compromising comfort, confidence, or style.
Supporting the equestrian community is one of the core values of THEO Equestrian. We are fortunate to be part of a community filled with generous, hardworking, and inspiring people, and giving back is an important part of who we are.
We are proud to be in our third year as a sponsor of NAYC and our second year sponsoring the Festival of Champions. This year we sponsored the inaugural Grand Prix Championships. We also proudly sponsor high-point awards and provide support for Flightline Shows, SLDA, Tryon, and Bouckaert Farms. Investing in these organizations and celebrating the accomplishments of riders is our way of supporting the sport and the community that has embraced our brand from the very beginning.
